Sylvan Lake Community

Westpine Estates is located in the Town of Sylvan Lake on 60th Street with direct access to Highway 11.

A popular summer resort, Sylvan Lake balances the best of small town atmosphere with the advantages of healthy growth. The Town offers a blend of residential neighborhoods, industrial areas, commercial districts and public facilities. The Town is bordered by two Summer Villages – Norglenwold to the west and Jarvis Bay to the east. A popular tourist spot, the Town hosts a mile long lakeshore provincial park. In fact, Sylvan Lake has attracted visitors since 1901 when William Jarvis himself first settled in the area. Proximity to the lake means visitors can participate in virtually any water-related activity including use of Canada’s largest freestanding waterslide. Sylvan Lake’s economy thrives year-round. There are just as many fun and exciting activities to take part in during the winter as there are in the summer: skateon the lake in the winter or take a refreshing plunge during hot summer months. In addition to tourism, the agriculture and oil service sectors are strongly represented.

Over the last ten years, Sylvan Lake has been one of the fastest growing towns in Alberta and in all of Canada. With new housing and business facilities coming on stream almost daily, Sylvan Lake is a community that takes pride in it’s past and looks to the promise of the future.
